Finding a Way Through Together

Find a way through with Herts Therapy

There are many areas of life in which a therapeutic process can be beneficial:

Addiction, anger management, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, disability issues, domestic abuse, loss bereavement dying, loss of meaning and direction, PTSD, relationship issues, self Esteem, sexuality, trauma to name but a few.

The aim of therapy is to set you free to deal more effectively with past and present challenges, empowering you to make decisions for your future to enhance your sense of wellbeing, enabling more manageable and satisfying ways to live your life. We will create a relationship in which you feel supported in a space where you can be heard confidentially and an environment where you can share and explore whatever is distressing you. Perhaps there are past unresolved experiences or current difficulties you may wish resolve. Working together I can help you learn to look at things in a different way, with empathy and compassion, encouraging healing and growth.

During our initial consultation, I will discuss the therapeutic process, your expectations and answer any questions you may have. We will then be able to establish if we are comfortable working together. After this session, there is no obligation to continue.

Should you decide to continue, we will meet weekly for 50 minutes, these sessions are tailored to suit your needs as a unique individual. We will review the process frequently to ensure the sessions remain beneficial and you feel they are an important commitment.
